Mashups for Disasters
A mashup
is a web application that combines data from more than one source into
a single integrated tool. In the case of disasters, mashups
allows the integration of multiple source of data. For example, during
the San Diego wildfires in 2007, mashups played a critial role.
The example below shows how a radio
station in San Diego combined data form their reporters into a Google
map.
