Digital Governance in Municipalities Worldwide (2005)

The last available measure about worldwide local government practices is from 2005. This work has been develop by The E-Governance Institute National Center for Public Productivity Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, Campus at Newark and Global e-Policy e-Government Institute Graduate School of Governance Sungkyunkwan University. This study did a A Longitudinal Assessment of Municipal Websites Throughout the World and it is part of a larger study on e-government. They had a focus on citizen participation, online decision-making (e-petitions, e-referenda), and online surveys and polls. This is a complete and extensive study about the stage of art of local governments on 2005. More information available at The e-governance Institute
