In this section we are located tools which encourage or facilitate social participation more than only be a sharing information space. eParticipation Discussion board: It is like a blackboard where citizen can meet and discuss about specifics topics. Virtual Communities: As is known day by day virtual communities are increasing their role in our society, these spaces are a new and emergent reality which introduces us to a new issue: virtual citizenship and virtual participation. How can spaces as second life change our perception of sovereignty, autonomy, borders, participation, etc? How these spaces can to contribute to build new democratic forms? How these spaces can change our perception of social society and could they be potentially dangerous in some sense?. ePetitioning: really famous applications more and more used every day. NGOs are frequently users of these tools as a good form to ask for supporting in different causes. eVoting: Even e-voting has present from 1960, it is in ours days that this tool are increasing its relevance e-voting examples Wikis: The new revelation of participating tools, even wikis still require a little technical background are a promise of a new revolution about virtual communities and collective information production.
