Course Schedule

June 7 Introduction to Public Policy and the Internet
June 9 The Internet as Paradigm
June 14 and 16 Federal Telecommunications Policy
June 21 Copyright, Intellectual Property and Open Source

The remainder of this course, through July 7, will be scheduled on an on-going basis, as an experiment, in collaboration with students. The first three scheduled classes will be background information, and the rest of the class sessions will be the product of class discussion on the most salient public policy issues surrounding the Internet, and how those should be addressed. The course will strive for "project-based learning," rather than formally scheduled and presented lectures with assigned readings.
